भारतीय नौसेना दिवस: सागर के सच्चे रक्षक को प्रणाम

नमस्कार प्रकृति मित्रों!

एशिया कप 2025 में, भारत के पाकिस्तान के साथ क्रिकेट खेलने पर महाराष्ट्र राज्य में कुछ समूहों ने आपत्ति जताई थी। कारण था— ऑपरेशन सिंदूर। अर्थात— पहलगाम हमला, महिलाओं का उजाड़ा गया सुहाग, और पाकिस्तानी हमले।

परंतु, भारत की तीनों सेनाओं ने एकत्रित आकर इस संयुक्त ऑपरेशन को पूर्ण विराम दिया, जिसमें भारतीय नौसेना का भी विशेष योगदान है, जिनकी रणनीति ने पाकिस्तान‌ के षड्यंत्रों को समंदर में डुबो दिया।

अर्थात, भारतीय नौसेना की बहादुरी का ऐतिहासिक इतिहास भव्य है, जिसके सम्मान में आज गुरूवार, 4 दिसंबर को हम नौसेना दिवस मना रहे है!

भारतीय नौसेना का गौरवशाली इतिहास

“नौसेना” भारतीय सेना का सामुद्रिक अंग है, जिसकी स्थापना 1612 में हुई थी। इसका आदर्श वाक्य है:

“शं नो वरुणः” जिसका अर्थ है “हे वरुण, हमारे लिए शुभ हो”; वरुण, अर्थात “जल के भगवान”।

1971 के युद्ध में नौसेना का शौर्य:

भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद वर्ष 1950 में नौसेना का गठन फिर से हुआ और इसे भारतीय नौसेना नाम दिया गया। विश्व की पांचवीं सबसे बड़ी इस नौसेना ने वर्ष 1971 के बांग्लादेश मुक्ति संग्राम में पाकिस्तान के कराची बंदरगाह पर भारी बमबारी कर उसे उध्वस्त कर दिया। इसी कारण, नौसेना दिवस यह 1971 में भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध में विजय प्राप्त करने वाली भारतीय नौसेना की शक्ति का स्मरण करने के लिए मनाया जाता है।

वैसे ‘ऑपरेशन ट्राइडेंट’ के तहत 4 दिसंबर, 1971 को भारतीय नौसेना ने पाकिस्तान के कराची नौसैनिक अड्डे पर हमला बोल दिया था। इस ऑपरेशन की सफलता को ध्यान में रखते हुए 4 दिसंबर को प्रत्येक वर्ष नौसेना दिवस मनाया जाता है।

वैसे ऑपरेशन सिंदूर से पूर्व जंग-ए-आजादी, मुंबई में ऑपरेशन ताज से लेकर अन्य कित्येक ऑपरेशन्स में भारतीय नौसेना का इतिहास चमक चुका है, और प्रत्येक बार समंदर पर तिरंगा अटल खड़ा रहा है।

आपको पता है, hindi.news18 की वर्ष 2024 की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, भारतीय नौसेना यह विश्व की सर्वोत्तम दस नौसेना में से एक कहलाई गई है। विश्व में इसका स्थान सातवें नंबर पर है।

क्यों आवश्यक है 365 दिवस नौसेना का सम्मान?

नौसेना दिवस यह भारतीय नौसेना के साहस, बलिदान और कर्तव्यनिष्ठता के सम्मान में देशभर में मनाया जाता है। परंतु मात्र एक दिवस ही नहीं, बल्कि 365 दिवस नौसेना का सम्मान होना चाहिए, हमारे मन में नौसेना के प्रति आदर और अभिमान की भावनाएं होनी चाहिए क्योंकि, समंदर के सीने पर शांत रहकर लड़ने वालों के लिए तालियाँ कम ही बजती हैं।

सिला हुआ जहाज

Deccan Herald की 2025 की एक रिपोर्ट यह कहती है कि, देश की समृद्ध नौसैनिक विरासत को पुनर्जीवित करने के उद्देश्य से, भारतीय नौसेना नौसेना और भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान, मद्रास के सहयोग से पारंपरिक नाव निर्माताओं द्वारा हस्तनिर्मित एक “सिले हुए जहाज” को सम्मिलित करने वाली थी, जिससे 2000 साल पुरानी तकनीक पुनर्जीवित की जाएं।

The Glorious History of the Indian Navy

Under ‘Operation Trident,’ on December 4, 1971, the Indian Navy attacked Pakistan’s Karachi naval base.
In view of the success of this operation, December 4 is celebrated every year as Navy Day.

Even before Operation Sindoor, in the War of Independence, in Mumbai during Operation Taj, and in several other operations, the history of the Indian Navy has shone brightly, and each time the Tricolor has stood firm upon the sea.
